Based on the same base as candleholders.
We decided to create a very technical and modern (neon) lamp, in opposition to the candle. Neon is a source of light which was seen as the future in pop culture.
The shapes of the neon are very intuitive, created by hand-forming glass tubes.

The neon lamps are developed from the same foundational form as the candle holders—the building block and modular unit that can be assembled into larger architectural structures.

In contrast to the elemental nature of the candle, we chose to explore a distinctly technical and modern light source. Neon—once emblematic of futurism in popular culture—introduces a different temporality and atmosphere to the collection.

The neon elements are shaped intuitively, with glass tubes hand-formed to create fluid, expressive lines. The result is a dialogue between the base structure and gestural lines of light.

About the collection:
50% OFF is a study of process, asking how ideas change as soon as they are translated into something tangible. It’s a reflection on creative loss—because something is always given up in the act of making. What remains is not the full initial idea, but half of it: altered, reduced, and perhaps more honest.
